Another wonderful album from Syngularity. This album is more vocal driven than the last. Included are vocal performances from Andrea Stuwe, Carol Sue Kirkpatrick, Bob Forbes, Leanne Bugat, Mike Lockett, WavePhonic and J.O. Simon.
Carol Sue Kirkpatrick also plays guitar on "Earthbound". Mike Lockett, J.O. Simon and Bob Forbes also add their own accompanying guitar work to the album.
Pascal Gregory is the driving force behind the project and it's his keys and synths that fill the soundscape. A very diverse compilation of songs and themes. The highlights for me include "Dying World", "Earthbound", "World Without Shadows", and "Mountain". All of the tracks have their highlights though. This is great music for relaxing and working, with the occasional dance track to pick up the rhythm. Working with Minouche, Syngularity creates some great lyrics and sounds. Mario Franke's artwork is 'otherworldly'. A complete package of sight and sound.
Listen to their back catalog and you will find Larry Fast inspired brilliance from Pascal and those keys. Pascal's synth work will also bring back memories of the Blade Runner soundtrack. Some of that influence is evidenced again here on tracks like "Reflections".
Take a trip away from everyday life with Syngularity. This time they have much more to say! A nice new diverse compilation of voices and electronic driven rhythms.
