Lovers of modern day brutal hardcore will be in for a treat in early 2011 with the release of Full Blown Chaos' self titled CD on Metal Blade Records. 13 tracks of violent, crushing brutality as only these guys can deliver, and while the album won't change the face of hardcore, it's as good as you'll hear in the genre.
Plenty of bone-crunching riffage and monstrous breakdowns are littered throughout Full Blown Chaos, as well as those familiar shouts & growls. "The Walking Dead", "Doomageddon", "Villians", and "Gravedigger" are some of the stronger tunes here, jam packed with plenty of angst and mosh ready passages that are sure to get your blood boiling and your head banging. As solid as most of this album is, those with more sophisticated tastes in their extreme music might find the work of Full Blown Chaos to be a tad monotonous, as many of these songs follow a similar pattern and lack variety. That being said, if all you are looking for is an excuse to get into 'mosh mode' and break some skulls, this latest from Full Blown Chaos is sure to get your adrenaline going and give you all the ingredients you need to dive into that circle pit.
