Drawcard Hail from 'down under' Australia, and a reasonably successful down under too. DrawCard is comprised of lead singer/guitarist Paul Durkin, Jesse Clark on guitars and vocals, bass player/vocalist Mitch Wheeler and Andi Durkin drums, samples and backing vocals.
The music on their debut album I believe is a cross between Foo fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and other alternative indie rockers. All catchy tunes with a groove and a beat. Clearly giving the band a spot between the aforementioned artists. They blend in very well, and make a great rock song.
The album is an astounding 14 tracks long, yet reaches just 45 minutes, but it's a very well played and produced 45 minutes, earning Drawcard a spot in the world of altenative /indie music. There are times I think I am listening to Coheed and Cambria without the high voice, which sounds splendid guys. I think we will be hearing a lot more of you. If the people are prepared and the airplay is done right, there is a bright future ahead for these guys.
Another great band from Down Under Australia. Keep the fire burning, rock on. Not A dull moment on the entire album.
