Sometimes you come across a band that really should never have been. Such is the case with this dreadful offering from the doom metal group Sorrow. Sorry to say the album title is really what you will feel if you plunk down any hard earned money on this torturous bit of a juvenile attempt at music. Combine inane lyrics with amateurish musical ability and you will find out all you want to know about these guys.
There is really not much that can be said for these three chord wonders as they drag you through some of the most boring sludge to ever hit your ears. I did make it all the way though this disc and even the bonus material but I have to tell you it was not worth the effort. Metal Mind Productions have found some real gems in the rough with their exploration of bands that flew under the radar but this is not one of them. They only made one EP and this full length disc. On this re-release you get both and sad to say the extra stuff only prolongs the agony.

Maybe you listened to it,but most definetely haven't heard ANYTHING!!! Anyways Sorrow are definetely a death/doom band but with their own unique approach to what they play. It's like WINTER are trying to adjust old SLAYER tunes to their own music,creating their vision of choke-full of hatred death/doom. The riffs are incredible. Crushing,dark and oppressive. The vocals can be distinguished too and the singer doesn't sound like most of singers of that time. During the awfuly many times i've heard both releases,i catch my self thinking that the ep is even better than the album,even though both materials are excellent. Anyways, i believe that the review given by the writer of 'sea of tranquility' is misleading to anyone who is searching for a hateful aprroach to death/doom. Everybody into that kind of music must take a listen to it and make his own opinion,but surely it's not as bad as the reviwer wrote! A true classic (both of the releases) and a gem to anyone who possesses it!! (pardon my french,i'm a greek,ruled by pirates here in greece.A true...SORROW!!!Hahaha)
