Stoner/acid rock band The Heavy Co. have been around since 2008, working hard on increasing their fan base as well as developing a sound entirely their own. The Heavy (Please Tune In...) begins with a tranquillizer to bring us into the all necessary psychedelic mood for listening to album like this one.
The music can literally creep into your mind. You may or may not know or be aware of the fact that some tones used in music posses the abillity to creep into your veins and mind, but it sure does and indeed happens in this case.
The Heavy (please tune in…) is a wonderful debut for a band we can expect much more of, still it is not classic in any way or an album that cannot be missed in your collection, but saying that it is highly enjoyable.
Another great aspect is that this album will not cost you any money to listen to, as you can freely download it. If you like it at first glance I would suggest however you support the band and give a donation, which will help keep the band alive and playing in the future, as making CDs and stuff does cost money.
