Kuato: Summer (EP)

Post-rock, experimental rock.
Instrumental rock, difficult to Characterize, long notes lengthy tones.

Iraqnafobia the first track probably inspired by all the things that hit the world seemly having connections to the people in Iraq. The song or track itself is very powerfull and brings us in a state of anger and frustration about all things that have been happened for years. In turn it runs straights into "Afghanistan Rogers", neigbouring country to Iraq with equally dark atmosphere.

The heavy riffing and pounding/beating drums has me on the edge of my seat, hardly sitting still. The music is blowing everything out of proportion. Strong. This is the kind of Post-rock I like best.

Although the sounds are very dark and moody I can thoroughly enjoy this. It eases me, takes the stress of everyday life out of me. The energy at which the music is brought is a debt to all this. Highly energetic playing

The bandcamp site of Kuato shows they have released at least 2 more EP's, Which I will check in the very near future. The last track on this EP reminded me titlewise of a Mars Volta album of almost the same name Frances the Mute. This song is probably a bit inspired by that music, I hear a lot of angles and turns Mars Volta use in this song. It is by all means a great tune.

I can only state again what I stated before. This is Post rock(experimental) the way I like it, I will check out the back catalog for sure. So as closure if you think Post-rock is for you check this out, as you will need to add it to your collection.
