Finland. What is it with this country (or most Nordic countries actually) that it delivers such fast amounts of Rock Bands. Right here we have Grönholm, another Rock band from Finland.
Ah well lets talk about Grönholm. Next to Mika Grönholm (guitar) the band consists of Tom Rask (drums), Markku Kuikka (vocals) and Jupi Hjelt (bass). Musically we can find Grönholm somewhere in the corner of bands like Journey, Boston, Foreigner, and even Europe. This classifies their music as AOR, I believe it is. The album is comprised of 10 tracks all of melodic nature with nice, beautifully crafted melody lines that can stick with you.
This album is not spectacular in nature. It is a straight forward rock album, with which you can have a lot of fun as it's a great listen, not boring but it also didn't tempt me to want more. You need to understand me correct here- I did have fun listening to the well crafted songs. The fun is there and the action also, which makes the music enjoyable.
All in all not a bad buy, but also not a must have in my book.
