Suicidal Tendencies were given the unique chance in 2005 to do a homecoming show at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles before the place was turned into a Korean Church. This last concert at the Olympic was to be the send off that only Suicidal Tendencies could give it. Although lead singer and sole remaining original member Mike Muir was about to have major back surgery, he propels this show into one of the best that the group has ever delivered.
They are hailed as one of the founders of the punk/thrash crossover genre. This disc shows all the fury and angst that the band can muster using a setlist that covers the whole Suicidal Tendencies catalog up to that point. From the opening "I Shot Reagan" and the maniacal "War Inside My Head" to the frantic "Institutionalized" the band demonstrates their own brand of high energy metal that is instantly recognizable as Suicidal Tendencies. For nearly 75 minutes you are pummeled by the full frontal punkish attack of one of their shows. It is relentless and a very intensely powerful moment in the history of the band. If you want to see them at their chaotic best, this disc is a real slice of the band at their brutal best.
