Lucky Thir13n: March of the Young

From Thessaloniki, Greece comes a young rock band on their way to conquer the world. Going by the name Lucky Thir13n, one must be challenging the gods- you want luck and then surname yourself 13 which stands for bad luck. I don't know.

Well back to business. The album starts off with 13 a dozen song in "Alibi". There are nice riffs, a rocking vocal and a backline with no innovative idea's. With track 2 it doesn't get much more exciting, this one called "Feels like Coming Home", the title already says what to expect, which is more of the same. "Get in My Way" is already the third song in a row, and though the beginning sounded promising, nothing much happened and it quickly turned into a normal rock song of little allure."Rivers Run Dry" completely misses, though it does feature a guest vocalist, and this guy growls as if his life depends on it. Turns the song into a nice 'try to do something out of the ordinary' so to speak.

The rest of the album The boys of Lucky really try hard to bring something that will be remembered and loved among rock fans around the globe. The only really succesful song on the album is the last one "Say Goodbye". This song shows they can do it, they can make it happen and can create a song that will be remembered a little longer than it lasts.

No doubt the band will find its audience, as they are able to create a good rock song. As a live band they probably kick ass.
