On Top: Top Heavy

Top Heavy! Can you see what they did there? They've got a busty lady with big boobies on the cover; they reference Accept, Dio, Dokken, Grim Reaper, Iron Maiden, LA Guns, Loudness, Megadeth, Motley Crue, Obsession, Ozzy Osbourne, Queensryche, Ratt, Van Halen and W.A.S.P and in all honesty, it's all pretty horrible from start to finish. I imagine that On Top are one of the bands who can be categorised as "fun" like Steel Panther or Hollywood Burnouts but unfortunately Top Heavy is just not any good despite the fact that guitarist Alex Kulick is clearly a talented guy who nearly redeems crass rubbish like "Into the Night" (or practically anything else on here.)

In a world where the Backyard Babies ploughed a similar furrow but in a much better way I don't see much of a future for On Top but Mr. Kulick is absolutely sh*t hot.
