Even though this band has been floating around the German music scene for about 10 years now, this is their first release and even though the wait was about the same as we had for Guns "n" Roses last release, this one is most certainly not worth the wait. Here is a band with a major identity crisis who cannot decide if they want to be Duran Duran, Disturbed, Rammstein, or The New Kids on the Block. With such a miss mash of techno electronic, bland pop and occasional forays into the world of metal, A Life Divided is a band that spreads itself too thin and excels at nothing.
Being one of the most uninspiring disc I have come across, there is really little that I can say about it other than that by the time you reach the final song "The End" you are really glad to get there. This kind of musical fodder which brings nothing new or even anything worth a second listen is one that should come with a warning label: "Do not listen while driving or operating machinery as it might induce sleep!"
