From the off, this is powerful stuff. Heavy, fast, sometimes dark and a bass line that will have you browning you're pants all day! Like a punk infused metal fisting, Black Breath mean business, with the break neck 'Mother Abyss' or the doomy, thrash thundering 'Of Flesh'. With a bass line resembling that of Entombed and a mish mash of punk, thrash and hardcore this is a potent mix that will sure leave venues devastated after any Black Breath visit. 'The Flame' is possibly the slowest of the tracks on offer here, which is still devastatingly heavy, leaving voice ripper N. T. McAdams laying his anger harbored vocals to ear shredding effect. When genres mix it can sometimes prove to be the death knell for the band before they even began, Black Breath are a fresh breath in a cluttered world of clean/scream wannabes they have the conviction to stick to their stance with a middle finger to the world.
If you're a fan of Napalm Death, Entombed or just want to hear something that will make you fuck shit up then get some 'Black Breath on the turntable, make space and slam yourself around the room.
