Coredust: Decent Death

Coredust are a bit of a hard band to classify. They open with a heavy song that contains both death metal and female vocals, then the next song goes into more death, then later into "clean" vocals. It's kind of an odd experience. Meanwhile musically the band play a sort of groovy, heavy sound similar to Pantera. It's weird but works in a way.

The band have a lot of great moments on this album and a lot of weak moments as any debut is bound to have, making this album a good preview of things to come, but not quite in the "outstanding" category as of yet. Standout tracks are: "Without Disguise" , "Dead End" and the brilliant cover of Depeche Mode's "It's Not Good".
