My Endless Wishes are influenced by other female fronted groups such as Nightwish, Within Temptation and Evanescence though the musical resemblances are slim especially to that first popular group. My Endless Wishes have written twelve songs from hard rockers like "Follow The Light" to others that approach a more metal like feel such as the heavy guitar riffs of "Silent Tears".
Formed in 2005 by Frida and Martin Viberg My Endless Wishes ventured on tp perform live and produce a nine track demo Never Walk Alone and then in 2009 My Endless Wishes' line-up was completed. Three permanent members came on board whom are bass player Magnus Kallstrom, guitarist Fredrik Pernros and they recruited a capable drummer in Erik Ekestubbe. With their line-up secured it then opened the door allowing for more possibilities, and My Endless Wishes have done just that going on to record their self titled debut.
My Endless Wishes show their rocking side on the friendly tune "Follow The Light" while "Cry For Deliverance" has a harder edge as does "A Part Of Me" and Erik Ekestubbe incorporates some double kicks for this one which he does elsewhere but with restraint as he plays what suits best. Frida Viberg's vocals are very appealing she is given plenty of space to show her talents, and songs like the excellent "Lost Without You" really shine with her input.
My Endless Wishes is such a good album by the band of the same name with plenty of quality songs on offer.
