Shameless sound so much like Alice Cooper especially when "Train to Hell" melts into "Eighteen" (didn't it used to be called "I'm Eighteen"?) Clearly originality isn't Shameless' strong point but fun and melody are. At times they sound like their Teutonic compatriots Kissin' Dynamite such are their pop metal credentials, at other times, they weirdly sound like Wednesday 13 fronting, for want of a better comparison, the 80s version of Bon Jovi.
Actually the version of "Eighteen" is the weakest effort here and certainly their own ballad "Hold On To Your Dreams" is a much better proposition and wouldn't have been out of place on any Poison album. Hankering after some glam metal? Look no further.
