Kicking off with the prompt metal of opener "The Logical Colors" and this band is in a rage, amplified by the aggressive vocals as we are subjected without mercy to the intense material on the third album from the group Sawthis. Titled Youniverse this is "a conceptual work focused on the theme of multiple personality disorder".
They aren't performing classic style metal, Sawthis are an in your face modern thrash/death group and one that have recorded a hefty musical barrage on Youniverse. Despite the titanic heaviness of their music this one is surprisingly catchy even though you are being subjected to that musical wrath of Sawthis. There are some clean additions to the vocals but mostly they give the impression of someone who sounds massively pissed off. Youniverse has a guest appearance by guitarist Rob Cavestany (Death Angel) on the all mighty "The Disturbed". Sawthis are able musicians that sound like a combination of many groups Pantera, Machine Head, Static X and Fear Factory come to mind and as such Youniverse should appeal to many metal fans.
Be prepared for a slice of metal annihilation as Youniverse by Sawthis takes no prisoners so don't say you haven't be warned.
