EZ Livin': Firestorm

In many ways this is a fun release especially given its spectacular anachronistic nature. There's so much on Firestorm that one has heard before. For instance, when, during the 1980s did Paul Stanley slip away from KISS in order to record the first two tracks for this album? The huge ballad "Let's Fly Away" begs the question – is it actually still 2014 or 1984? The opening sequence to "Easy Living" makes one wonder if Jon Lord actually passed away or not. It's that kind of album, one where Uriah Heep still rule and hard rock is king. With former Accept man David Reece on vocals and production from (who else?) Alessandro Del Vecchio I can see EZ Livin' being very popular on mainland Europe if no further afield.
