Treatment, The: Running With the Dogs
I wasn't particularly expecting much from Running With the Dogs, the second album from young English group the Treatment but my word they've produced an album's worth of top-of-the-range classic rock very much in the vein of AC/DC or Bad Company or even a UK version of Black Stone Cherry. Black Stone Cherry recently played Wembley Arena and there's absolutely no reason why The Treatment shouldn't do the same given the breaks. The only drawback is a slight lack of originality but even then The Treatment aren't as slavishly copyists as say, Airbourne and on the best songs ("Get the Party On", "World On Fire" and "I Bleed Rock + Roll") there's evidence of a band whose time may very well be with us very soon.
