AC Myles is a Californian guitarist specializing in the blues. I believe Reconsider Me his second solo album.
Reconsider Me is well produced modern blues rock with a pretty slick production style that is still able to retain some grittiness due to Myles excellent guitar work and soulful vocals. The album contains eleven tracks, including four original compositions. There are no unexpected twists and turns here, just solid blues flavoured rock and roll.
Listen for some scorching guitar solos in Rory Gallagher's "Do You Read Me" and "Livin' a Lie", an original tune with a hint of George Thorogood. For a more country flavour try the catchy "What Is Love" or the title track with its crystal clean stabs of lead guitar and slight tickling of piano. "Rock My Soul" is a catchy gospel inflected number where the entire band cooks up a storm while "Death Bed Blues" is a more slow burning affair.
Reconsider Me is a solid album with good musicianship and about as unpretentious as it gets. If you like bluesy flavoured rock by all means check it out.
