Here we have the debut two-song EP from the new metal supergroup calling themselves Blood Divisions, who are comprised of Chris Jericho, Dave Austin, Ralph Santola, Terry Butler, Greg Gall, Bill Owen, John Mahoney, and Ben Meyer. With the exception of Fozzy's Jericho, the members are all veterans of the Florida metal scene, so it's no surprise that the Nasty Savage classic "The Morgue" is covered here, with Jericho doing a fine job on the vocals to this menacing 9-minute favorite. The other track is a rousing version of the Scorpion's "Top of the Bill", littered with plenty of wild lead guitar in the grand spirt of Uli Roth's original recording. With only two songs, it's somewhat hard to really judge this band, but it will be a fun 12 minutes of your time, and part of the proceeds from sales of the EP will benefit Rock & Rescue, a charity started by producer Jay Ruston, as well as the Warren County Tennessee Human Society, so it's for a good cause.
