After debuting in 2012 with The Sepentine Ritual in 2014 album number two The Eyes Of Medusa was released, and the band that I am referring to Kill Ritual have increased the momentum with a third album Karma Machine in 2015. That is despite major changes to the group since the last album, with a new vocalist, drummer and bass player appearing on Karma Machine. The changes haven't held this band back as guitarist and founding member Steve Rice has the talented lineup to keep the US metal group firing along.
Not locked into just the one style of metal Kill Ritual's new release is cranking out tunes of the thrash/power/heavy metal kind. Of the first three tracks they do get better as the progress as "The Enemy Inside" is my clear cut favourite. I don't mind the furious opener "Just a Cut" and I would expect a very catchy melodic track such as "Rise" to have a broad appeal. Though "The Enemy Inside" just steps it up mostly thanks to the excellent guitar work of Steve Rice and a potent rhythm section. With other appealing numbers such as "My Green Room" a ballsy instrumental with more of that great guitar input Kill Ritual ensure that Karma Machine keeps you entertained for the duration.
