Here is another Italian melodic group that at first seemed like your run of the mill European power metal act doing what so many have done before. Well while Energy Of The Elements do present a lot of the common elements, besides that cover art there's added musical extras as they look to make their new album 03:30 Dehuman Rise stand out.
Vocally it's a mxture of styles on 03:30 Dehuman Rise with mostly the clean lead and backing kind, there are some growls like those on "Hiding Behind Shadows". "Follow Me" also has that more aggressive style and an input of the female operatic kind which work well together, and I found this song just gets better and better on repeat listens. It's that vibrant music that's the highlight on 03:30 Dehuman Rise being their strongest drawcard here. Energy Of The Elements utilize that powerful rhythm section effectively driving their music while the tasteful keyboards and guitars unleash their pulling power on the bands shifting material. Energy Of The Elements are showing loads of potential with 03:30 Dehuman Rise, if they can focus more on establishing their own idenity as they do show many times on this album then that's the side of this band that I would like to hear more of.
