If you enjoy the work of Rhapsody Of Fire , Thy Majestie and such epic metal groups then be sure to check out this release by the band Final Chapter. So style wise Final Chapter are of the Symphonic Power Speed Metal kind. Hardly a new metal group as they started out in 1998 thanks to keyboardist, guitarist, bass player Andreas M. Wimmer and former member guitarist, bass player Achim Sinzinger. It becomes evident quite early on that Final Chapter are not your average group when listening to the zestful first song "Trace Of Fate" off their excellent new album Legions Of The Sun and they keep on impressing through to their epic closer "The Battle". It is also quite surprising that a band of their ability has had such an extended gap between albums, that is twelve years from what I can gather, but hey in this case it's better late than never. Like Final Chapter's full length debut The Wizard Queen the German band's long awaited second album also features additional guest appearances, on vocals that is and they have been incorporated so well. Final Chapter's Legions Of The Sun isn't a bad option at all if you are on the look out for new Symphonic Power Metal.
