Zombie Rodeo is a relatively new heavy rock band hailing from Finland. I'm not sure what the current music scene is like in Finland but I know that another band, Initiated, plays a relatively similar style and is emerging as a powerful new band. Whereas Initiated creates music in the style of Samhain and others like them, Zombie Rodeo plays heavy music more in the tradition of what I can only call biker rock. The music is strong and heavy and has a nice bluesy energy always lurking just beneath the surface. I especially liked the opening and closing tracks, "Nameless Rider" and "Replacement Memories." Fans of heavy rock with plenty of fuzz may enjoy this one.
