Black Army Jacket: 222
The 50 tracks on Closed Casket give fans an awesome overview of Black Army Jacket's career but they aren't enough. You also need to pick up 222, the band's proper full-length release. When it first appeared in 1999, Black Army Jacket was one of the only (and one of the best) bands in the powerviolence movement. Part of what made the band so memorable was their loud, relentless, and raw style, one that blended the best of hardcore punk with a healthy dose of experimentation. I recommend checking out (at the very least) "Multimedia Infantilization," "U68," "Meow Meow Meow" and "I've Seen You Completely." I'm actually playing "Meow Meow Meow" for my cat right now. Good as that track is, my cat is more invested in lying down on my keyboard. She's purring, though.
