Garden is a Scottish progressive/art rock project led by Sam Bradley and they released the album Somewhere Else in 2013 which I described as both intriguing and eclectic and gave it a big four star rating. From the Mouth of the City continues Garden's evolution, it's languid, yet focussed, mature yet playful. The aforementioned Sam Bradley describes it as, "Garden's first instrumental piece and is something of a musical cityscape of my home Edinburgh." I've been to Edinburgh and found it crowded, something which I don't find on the laid back, almost jazzy "From the Mouth of the City" which is akin to a Big Big Train song without vocals which is high praise indeed. I can't wait for the forthcoming EP!
