Spanish death metal act Aposento have been around since 1990, releasing a selection of demos and EPs plus playing many live gigs before a constant upheaval in personnel eventually led to the disbandment of the band in 1997. Fast forward to 2012, when some of the original line-up put Aposento back together again with some new musicians, and once again the band started recording and touring the extreme metal circuit. Eventually, Aposento found their way to Xtreme Music, and here in 2017 they have released their third full length, titled Bleed to Death. First of all, the cover art is kick ass, and perfectly signifies what you'll hear throughout the albums ten crushing tracks. Deathly growls & grunts spew over a cavalcade of monstrous riffs and pounding drums, not too technical but certainly old school sounding, tracks like "Wishing Hell", "Portrait of a Killer", "Slaughtered", and the completely brutal "Revenge Against God" are all highly recommended for any fan of Six Feet Under, Cannibal Corpse, and of course Death.
The current line-up of Aposento includes vocalist Mark Bersek, guitarist Manolo Saez, bassist Manu Reyes, and drummer Gabri Valcazar. Bleed to Death is an easy recommendation for any death metal fan, so don't hesitate to investigate this one.
