All Will Be Golden is the sophomore release from Finnish psych/prog act Superfjord, and also their first album to appear on Svart Records. Comprised of Jussi Ristikaarto (vocals, guitars, electronics, percussion), Mikko Kapanen (vocals, guitars, percussion), Juho Ojala (vocals, keyboards, synths), Teemu Soininen (bass), Ilari Kivelä (drums, percussion, synths), and Jussi Peevo (drums, percussion) these guys blend Hawkwind, Pink Floyd, & Tangerine Dream styled space rock with earthy Scandinavian prog for an upbeat, groove laden, trippy listening experience. Plenty of synth driven blips, beeps, and chirps fluttering among these six lengthy tracks, zig zagging across the arrangement on the engaging near 11-minute "Master Architect", and adding a symphonic, at times New Wave-ish feel to the upbeat "No Rest for the Wicked", a song that also features some cool, jazzy sax that when mixed with the psych flavored vocals reminds of early '70s Hawkwind.
"Rainha da Floresta" even blends some Canterbury styled prog with the bands penchant for '60s psychedelia, the 'flower power' hippie vocals colliding with thumping grooves, sax, guitars, and bubbles of synths, making for a nice end to this enjoyable little album. Space rock fans will especially find much to sink their teeth into here, Superfjord doing their best to perhaps step onto the throne once the mighty Hawkwind decide to eventually call it a day.
