Katu Kaiku are a trio from Finland comprising a bass (Mikael Saastamoinen), woodwinds (Adele Sauros), and drums (Erik Fraki). I can count on one hand who the Sax players I listen to so it's never been a favorite for me. There is one song where the Flute is played and that's very nice, "Into The Purple" was really the only tune here that I liked. The rest just didn't float my boat. If you are a fan of Sax and amazing 6-string bass chording you may really dig it. They are really good at what they do and I respect their musicianship and brand of jazz.
