Shadow Breaker: Shadow Breaker
Who would Shadow Breaker be you may be wondering? Let's see what the peeps at Pride & Joy have to say shall we? The capitalization is all their own work.
“SHADOW BREAKER is a Heavy Rock band, mostly influenced by 70's and 80's giants of the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal such as AC/DC, WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY, UFO, SCORPIONS, VAN HALEN, OZZY OSBOURNE, KISS, MOTLEY CRUE, LED ZEPPELIN, DEF LEPPARD, MSG, DOKKEN, RATT... “
There's a reason why all those bands made it and that would be great songs above all else. Sadly that's what Shadow Breaker lack. They aren't shockingly awful, they just aren't memorable, the production is flat and insipid and the vocals are screachy. The guitars are pretty good courtesy of Chris Savourey but even the better tunes such as "Heartquake" are mired in a style which vacated the planet years ago and to be honest, doesn't need to be reborn. Also, Led Zep's people might be interested in the middle of "I've Found Myself" as well. I take my metaphorical hat off to anyone who can actually get a record done and out there but I won't be spinning this again. Ever.
