Phantom Elite: Titanium

With every inch of a silver lining there comes an unstoppable demeanour, cleverly firing through in the slickest formation and pushing through with the elevating foundations - the internationally founded Symphonic Metal act Phantom Elite pledge allegiance whilst alluring the holy book to the table of the tastiest hooks and conjuring up potions from a majestic cauldron filled with the most bombastic chorus’; seasoned with the heated passion, the sublime grit and the fiery grasps of inferno breaching flames.

Returning some four years later with their ambitious and illustrious sophomore record, the Dutch/Brazilian three-piece escort the wings of fulfilment to soar beyond another high commanding peak with a new agenda and a promising construction of heavily-immersed tracks to entertain the many in masses; hoping that this will gather more fanatics along the way for future endeavours and for the units’ own personal growth from the purest heart of their own musicality or creation.

Over the past few years, I have always known about this symphonically based organization, however I have never ever actually sat down and gave them a listen until now. From researching some stimulating details about this profound establishment fronted by the Sao Paulo born Marina La Torraca, this prestigious outfit deserve all the credit they are going to get from this review and from Heavy Metal lovers all around the divine fractions of the globe; with the band aspiringly entering an exceptionally tough and competitive domain sitting amongst the dignified elements of this particular musical genre in question.

Moreover, Titanium commences with a ‘straight to the point’ behemoth of a track in the elemental reigns of the sublimely written phenomenon ‘Conjure Rains’, before elegantly drifting into the luxury arms of the magnificent third single from this zealously spirited offering ‘The Race’; capturing the complete essences of emotion combined with the total package of the most boisterously written riffage I have heard in a very long period of time, especially during the skull-crushing episodes of the title track ‘Titanium’ and the ultra-catchy components of the rage infused composition of ‘The Worst Part of Me’.

Ultimately. with a brawny conglomeration of a wave of various symphonically-driven outlets like the astounding single ‘Diamonds and Dust’ and a captivating touch of some intelligently penned song writing occurrences in the shape of the faultless ‘Glass crown’, Titanium as a whole offers its Delain, Within Temptation and Follow the Cipher mirroring influences as a positive step in the right direction for Phantom Elite’s future adventures to be tremendously bright and seductively appealing; winning over audiences in the easiest way possible with the wonderfully fitting combination of riff-filled breakdowns, a melting pot of stupendous vocalisations and a lion’s share of a harmoniously solidified statue of a bravado gratitude.
