Holy Mother: Face This Burn

After a long eighteen-year span of silence from the recording room, Long Island Heavy Power Metal Veterans Holy Mother reinstate their former glory with a brand-new opus seasoned with a modernized slice of glorification and a raw grit for nature; championing forward with a rich formula of a stupendously muscular strain of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal pushing that pedal to the metal stylized musicianship to the brink of perfection.

What can I say, Face this Burn has everything you could expect from a powerized source of this particular genre and it does comfortably hit every mark it possibly can in the meantime, as seen through the elusively catchy spectacle 'Love is Dead’ with the extravagant Messiah’s Kiss frontman Mike Tirelli on a superlative wave of form, and also through the spectacular Maiden chorus influenced performance of the arresting ‘The River’; bringing the punches with the prided passion and keeping this impressive four-piece on track for a winning outcome.

Reviewing this album has been a really tough task in selecting a few tracks to talk about because every fragment on this record in my opinion is just exceptional, Holy Mother completely hit home with some other superior honorable mentions like the rising of the in the face phenomenon entitled ‘Wake Up America’, the face melting prodigy labelled as the opening title track ‘Face this Burn’ and the attractive fragments sitting amongst the melodious charm of the superb ‘Prince of the Garden’.

All-inclusively, the substantially striking star of the show in terms of the material on this record is the awe-inspiring cover of The Carpenters’ version of the 1971 classic ‘Superstar’, which remarkably is bewildering enough to even bring a tear to the eye and legitimately, this is an astounding finale to a laboriously paced affair of Heavy Metal composition and a powerful storm of musicality; completing this contemporary experience as a majestically marvelous return with the finest form and a solidified effort that will hopefully get toured at some point in the near future.
