Airborn: Live Animals-25 Years of Wild Metal

Roaring on like never before, the Italian Power Metal squad Airborn are back for the attack with a contemporary live addition and extravaganza, efficiently updating us with more of a recently drafted setlist and a jam packed collection of their more favoured works that sits on the reminiscent side, especially with the likes and influences of classic performances from the Heavy Metal heroes of Gamma Ray, Helloween and Angra.

Foremost, this is a very vintage sounding live record, which is not a bad thing at all - it is a very good thing and it does the product a lot of justice, even so with a range of solid material that is at a higher end quality. If you are not that familiar with the music of Airborn then this a great place to start. The determined elite have been around for a few decades now and they always meant business in the Power Metal Universe amongst their elders.

From recent episodes from albums post 2010 to older entries of the past endeavours, this titanic offering is q well-crafted basket of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed this release as a whole from the offset. I would definitely recommend this to any Power, Melodic or Heavy Metal fan, and the tracks are so accessible and easy to digest it becomes addictive, therefore it is easily an instant winner for those who take on the listening task to essentially endure this fundamentally excellent piece of work.

Raging from a bunch of joyously pompous songs like the magnificently constructed 'Born to Fly' right on to the epic driven adventures of the superbly effective 'Sword of Justice'; Turin's finest assembly are not here to mess around by any means and they deliver everything with a supreme sense of comfortable ease to create a triumph for glory.

Further entries like the crash and grab opener 'The Hero' is just simply wonderful that cleverly lifts your own spirit right up off the ground, and furthermore the slippery welcoming modern spectacle 'Lizard Secrets' ejecting from more latter works sits well amongst the collection of tracks that are distributed through the entire duration of this grandeur performance.

I can not speak highly enough of Italy's powerizing folk and I am honestly very glad I took the time to review Live Animals: 25 Years of Wild Metal because I was not left with even an inch of disappointment and I felt like I want to shout at the Metal haters myself after indulging my efforts into this excitingly engaging Heavy Metal experience.
