A lackluster mix of punk and hard rock that brings nearly nothing new to the genre or for the band.
The majority of the album for me is sectioned off into two fronts. One is familiar sounding gravely fast punk like tracks like “Fired Up” and “Motor Madness” and the others are hard rock rockers like “Ghost Town” and “World on Fire”.
The musicianship is present but not coherent, I feel if the band would pick one of the genres to focus their sound on they would benefit greatly as a band and for musical content. I feel they execute the more hard rocking songs better than basic punk and it gives their songs more room to breathe and develop, both as a band and vocally.
Sadly the album is split and the album has no flow and no rhythm to maintain the listener along.
Along with production that seems muddled at times, overall it doesn’t hold up to anything that can be impactful and innovative to set them apart from the bracket of bands in the genre.
