Squeaky Feet: 2025-02-07, Mission Ballroom-Denver, Colorado

In the pre-internet days, my friends who were “Deadheads� had monstrous cassette collections of the band’s live performances. These live recordings were cherished and preferred over the studio releases, and proudly displayed like trophies on a shelf. In this day and age, many bands are offering live shows to their fans via the internet, excellent soundboard recordings versus those often crappy audience-captured shows.

Squeaky Feet’s latest is a live show from 2/7/25 at the Mission Ballroom in Denver Colorado. Two songs (possibly new) open the set, the rocking “Brainrot� and the blissful guitar jams of “Never Break�, the band sounds fired up and loaded with energy. A big surprise is an extremely fun cover of Styx’s “Mr. Roboto�, I have no doubt they were having a ball playing this tune. The set closes with a 20-minute rendition of “Premonition� from the Cause for Alarm album, and what a way to end their set. The opening riffs blow me away, the heaviness and precision lead into the vocal section.

I’ve made no bones about my love for this band, the twin guitar attack from Colin Shore and Greg King is fantastic, and the entire band continues to impress. 45 minutes of live Squeaky Feet with a name your price option on Bandcamp.
