Whoa, this release is quite a revelation from the multi-talented La Blanc brothers Robbie and Brian out of Connecticut. This duo has actually been around quite a while, starting way back in the early 80's with the artist Rupert Holmes and actually had a release of their own back then produced by the legendary Felix Cavaliere. The sound is most reminiscent of the best of Foreigner and the softer side of Journey and Boston. The songwriting is superb, with lush melodies and soaring vocals, lead handled by Robbie. If this type of music appeals to you, you will love this recording. A little harder edge from time to time would earn this release four stars from me, but most assuredly it is a certain four star album for those of you who enjoy solid melodic rock.
