Secrets Of The Moon: Stronghold Of The Inviolables

Hmm. Recording at Aleister Crowley stronghold Thelema Abbey definitely got my attention; the digital 8-track mix muddied the waters. You'd think that with all that heavy dark energy Secrets Of The Moon might be able to summon something better than this run-of-the-mill aggregate of blast beat chug and strangled vocals. There's some underutilized industrial noise aspects that might have tilted the balance in favor of SotM coming off like a lesser-talented MZ.412, but like I say, they're underutilized. Pass.
