While I give Condition Red two stars, it's a strong two stars. There's not a lot of new stuff going on here, but neither do you feel that they're just trying to reinvent the wheel. In the lead vocal slot we don't hear a lot of power in range--or even a lot of real range for that
matter--but this front man is firmly in touch with his vocal strengths and uses them well. Additionally, the technical skill of this group is worth noting; they are tight and polished and blindly aggressive.
I'd recommend this particular release for metal fans everywhere. Be aware that you aren't buying a CD that will push the envelope, but one that utilizes the space inside that envelope with aplomb.
