From Sweden comes the debut from Evildoer called Terror Audio, a raging assault of technical thrash, death and grind, yet an album that is also highly melodic at the same time. You want quality guitar riffs that blaze, chug, blister, crush, and bash with enough force to knock out a rampaging dinosaur? Look no further than this album. The two guitarists, Johan and Martin, do an excellent job of coming up with catchy, technical, and crushing guitar riffs on Terror Audio. Every track is a feast of intense chops, as heard on the riff-mongers "Day of Torment", "Please Lord", "Fear Dotgov" (love that title!), and the rampaging "Gunshell Revenge". These guys know how to thrash with the best of them, in 80's fashion, and prove it on tracks like "On Bleeding Knees" and "Absolute Hate", complete with melodic screams from singer Andy and relentless double bass drum barrages from Agge.
If bands like Exodus, Darkane, The Haunted, Slayer, and Annihilator are your thing, you'll find much to get excited over by this debut from Evildoer. At about 38 minutes long, it's a fairly short album, but considering it's their debut I think this will just be the tip of the iceberg in introducing this new force to the metal world.
