Spain's Locomotive Records, apparently heeding popular demand, has reissued 1997's Mi Ciudad, the third album from the Spanish-language metal band Saratoga. It's packed with the sort of melodic, arena-style hard rock/metal that was popular in the United States in the late Eighties and early Nineties, and it sounds dated but still decent. Little is known about Saratoga in the States; in fact, you'll be hard-pressed to find an English-language web site about the band. But for a taste of what Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe or Winger might have sounded like had they been Hispanic, Mi Ciudad is an excellent place to start.
