Gaza: I Don't Care Where I Go When I Die

Damn if this isn't some of the heaviest and most revolting stuff you will hear all year. Let's face it, grind is not meant to be subtle, but on Gaza's latest I Don't Care Where I Go When I Die , the extreme is upped to the max. Tortured screams, evil growls, brutally heavy guitar sludge, manic rhythms, and gore soaked lyrics is the name of the game here, so if you live by the sounds of bands like Pig Destroyer, Cattle Decapitation, early Carcass, Napalm Death, and Cannibal Corpse, then this will certainly be for you. At times the music is down and dirty doom, but for the most part this is manic, technical brutality that never lets up for a second. Songs like "Hospital Fat Bags" and "Gristle" (yeah, this is pretty extreme stuff) thunder along with manic intensity that manages to come across as tremendously heavy as well as intricate and complex. It won't be for everyone, but if you have a strong stomach and like your metal with mean intentions, give I Don't Care Where I Go When I Die a try.
