There's plenty to like about Evergreen Terrace. The boys appear to have a good collective sense of humor––these cats burdened their newest release with a name SO DUMB you have to laugh––and are boyishly shy about revealing their last names. That is, as my tweenage daughter would say, soooooo cute! As are song titles such as "Cheney Can't Quite Riff Like Helmet's Page Hamilton" (a pretty good
number) and "To The First Baptist Church Of Jacksonville" (you had me, then lost me guys, really). Wolfbiker is mercifully short at 34 minutes, though more than half of that is genre-centric filler––stuff that sounds exactly like the umpteen million other records recorded and marketed toward Generation Hot Topic. C'mon guys, let's get past the summer of '03 already and start making music that moves this party forward.
