Cooler By The Lake: Cooler By The Lake
 Not only does this band burden us with an entire CD filled with amateurish, barely-listenable schlock, it goes so far as to create a 95-minute documentary to accompany its off-kilter musical stylings. But don't bother. You won't get that far. The music's akin to what happens when a bunch of drinking buddies decide to get on stage one night at their favorite corner bar and let loose. Only with a little–a little–more thought. Skip.

Hmm, I kind of like the comment about the buddies in the bar on the weekend, but the reviewer here is way off. He obviously has very particular tastes and that's understandable coming from this website. I have seen this band live, and have recently picked up the cd/dvd. I have to say that this is one of the most entertaining rock bands I have seen in a long time. Yeah, they may not have an intense, serious demeanor as most progressive rock and metal bands, but they most definitely rock. I think I may chalk this one up as, "you really have to see it to appreciate it." Probably part of the reason why they included a 95 minute DVD. I'm having a good time with this one, call it a guilty pleasure.
