Traditional hardcore meets modern heavy metal on this latest EP from Terror, a young band who have been busy on the live scene since their inception in 2002, putting in a lot of road mileage to get their music across to the extreme masses. While Rhythm Amongst the Chaos is pretty short and over before you know it, there's no denying the power contained on these five tracks. "Disconnected" and "Arms of the Truth" especially contain some truly brutal and inventive guitar riffing from Martin Stwesrt and Doub Weber, plus the vocals of Scott Vogel are developing into some of the most expressive on the current hardcore scene. With an upcoming tour opening for Chimaira, Kataklysm, and Divine Heresy on the horizon, Terror will be introducing their metallic mayhem to an even larger and more diversed audience, which hopefully will see them creating a nice buzz once they put together a full length follow up to this one.
