This disc entitled Fetish from Poland's Goth metal act Artrosis, appears to have been released in 2001 on Metal Mind Records, yet nothing points to a re-release. This in fact appears to be the English version of what was an album originally done in Polish. Nonetheless the band which was formed back in the mid 90's has put out half a dozen full length releases, and their sound and visuals really have more to do with Goth, electronica and elements of industrial than straight ahead metal.
Artrosis are fronted by the operatic female vocals of Magdalena "Medeah" Dobosz, and quite honestly her singing both in English and Polish, is probably the most appealing aspect of Fetish. The music which for the most part leans heavily towards the industrial / electronic side of things, with a focus on electronic percussion doesn't really go anywhere. Save for a few decent guitar riffs and some interesting percussive elements on "Samuel", "The Poisoned" and perhaps one of the most interesting tracks, "0100101110", too much of this disc suffers from it's own lack of originality, not to mention it's repetitiveness.
