As the first track spun on Rick Wakeman's 1999 White Rock II (now being reissued, along with an assortment of Wakeman's back catalog, by MVD), I kept wondering when the announcer was going to come in and tell me about the holiday white sale. In fact, White Rock II sounded so much like a commercial music bed that it almost appears unfinished, like it's a demo waiting for the band. Only after I read the sleeve notes did I understand that it was actually soundtrack for 3 Winter Olympic Game films. This doesn't make White Rock II any better, it just explains a lot. In short, there's much better Wakeman material out there.
