Venezuelan prog band Tempano's latest CD is a whimsical explosion of mind treat.
The guitar work is the driving force behind this ride, interludes of classical and electric, loops and mellotron are reminiscent of King Crimson's "I talk to the wind."
The vocal soars with emotion, teamed with light keyboards the vision of the rain stopping shines lucid.
Fifteen tracks take the listener on a welcomed voyage of synchronized orchestration and mood. I think that the listener can't avoid being captivated by Tempano's concept journey. A lot of the vocals remind me of the promise of early Mister Mister, the bass work is subsonic, laying the foundation to a solid structure of music. My favorite cut is probably "Timeless Time"…. Pink Floyd revisited. This is truly an enjoyable trip, and I urge you all to get a ticket! The Agony and the Ecstasy is a variant of flavors, satisfying the taste bud of a vast dreamscape.
