Attention death/metalcore fans- here is one for you. Stigma are an Italian metal band who know how to play great powerful metal that, while maintaining a level of intensity, still has melodic moments. There are a lot of super fast tracks on here with a level of complexity. The production is fitting for this type of music, giving Stigma a clear brutal sound whilst not losing anything in the mix. You only have to see the artwork and read the song titles for When Midnight Strikes to realize there's a horror theme running throughout this one, titles like "Flesh Ritual" and "Silver Bullets and Burning Crosses". "I Am Dracula" is one of many tracks on here that burst through your speakers with guitars set to warp speed and furious drumming topped off with aggressive vocals. When Midnight Strikes is full of catchy riffs and solos plus a fine display of drumming, so there is a lot to like about this release from Stigma.
