Take a singer who sounds very close to a slightly off key Joe Strummer, add a honky tonk piano, blend in a bunch of ambient noise and some very basic melodies. Then, as the last ingredient, make this an anti war themed menagerie where repeated pacifist lyrics are the norm and you have TheBrutalRealityOfModernBrutality.
Thollem Sickofwar is the creator of this piece. The press release states that he wrote it in three hours, and without teaching the songs to his new bandmates, recorded this album. It shows! If you would like to hear a tinkling piano and Thollem singing "Imagine a world without nuclear bombs", repeatedly for nineteen minutes, then I have the album for you! Improv jazz can be some of the best music on earth, this is not!
