Jamey Jasta and Stillborn Records have unleashed upon us all a new face in the world of metal. They say some things are better left unsaid, well; this band is not one of them. With a fury that borders on maniacal, Better Left Unsaid is nothing short of a mega dose of extreme metal that manages to weave in a melodic approach that is simply put, irresistible.
A lot of bands are turning to this style but you have to have a singer who can pull it off. Adam Raffety is one that can. From a snarling growling beast he transforms into a pure singer with a flick of the switch. He has a great voice no matter what avenue he takes. All you have to do is listen to the song that should be a hit single "Testify" and you will hear him go to both extremes. This song is worth the price of admission alone but the whole album is a terrific piece of work. I could find no weak spots at all.
They have shared stages with acts such as Hatebreed, Killswitch Engage and Bury Your Dead. It will not be long before you will be hearing about the bands that have shared a stage with them! This one has been in constant rotation on my player and I do not see that changing any time soon!
